Week 2
This is one of those mesmerizing places you run into once in a timeline.
It is called the Bullock Texas State History Museum. This site
squeezes all Texas history in a 4-story building. Every room is full of culture
and precise information to understand the Texas State. On the other hand, this
places not only holds important information that concerns Texans but also
provides information about Americans regarding mental health. Mental health has
been an important issue that, according to the National Alliance of Mental
Illness (2022), affects everyone regardless of culture, race, ethnicity, gender
or sexual orientation.
Bullock Texas State History Museum is located near the Capitol and
received its name after the 38th Lieutenant Governor of Texas Bob Bullock.
According to the museum’s brochure, the major exhibitions displayed in this
site are; when the story of Texas began, how we built the Lone Star identity
and how land, culture, and technology shaped Texas. This place is so
educational that you can find distance learning livestreams as school programs
and theaters.
This museum must be your bucketlist.
